One engineering partner for repair, replacement and supply. ELIN Engineering is a Bulgarian family company founded in 1989. From our industrial facility near Plovdiv, we support factories, maintenance teams, machine builders and procurement specialists with technically checked solutions for electric motors and rotating equipment.
For repair projects, we assess AC and DC motors, high-voltage machines, wound-rotor and slip-ring motors, traction motors, servo and spindle motors, generators and associated mechanical components. The exact scope, price and lead time are confirmed after review of the machine and its operating conditions.
For supply projects, we select new or replacement motors by power, speed, voltage, frequency, mounting, protection, duty and application. We also supply selected industrial products and components manufactured by ELIN Engineering or by established Bulgarian producers, subject to a project-specific technical check.

Repair, replacement and industrial supply from Bulgaria

1. Send the technical data. Email a clear nameplate photo, overall photos, mounting details, a description of the fault or required product, operating voltage and frequency, site location and target timing to elin@eldvigateli.com.
2. Technical review and quotation. We confirm what can be assessed remotely, what requires inspection in Bulgaria, and whether repair, redesign or replacement is the practical route. Scope, price, transport terms and lead time are quoted for the specific machine.
3. Repair or supply, checks and dispatch. After approval, we perform the agreed electrical and mechanical work or prepare the selected equipment. Final checks, documentation and dispatch requirements are agreed according to the project and destination.
Industrial electric motor repair scope
Our service scope includes electrical repair, rewinding and the mechanical operations that often decide whether a repaired machine will run reliably. Depending on the machine and the approved work order, this can include:
- three-phase squirrel-cage induction motors;
- high-voltage motors, including machines with preformed coils;
- wound-rotor and slip-ring motors, rotor coils and contact-ring work;
- DC motors, traction motors, servo motors and spindle drives;
- stator-core, bearing-seat, shaft and other mechanical repairs;
- dynamic balancing and vibration diagnostics of rotors and rotating parts;
- engineering changes such as winding recalculation, sensors, anti-condensation heaters or independent cooling when technically applicable.
Important: a remote review is preliminary. The final repair scope and warranty conditions depend on inspection, measurements, the condition of the active parts and the agreed operating duty.
New motors, replacements and products made in Bulgaria
For new projects and urgent replacements, ELIN Engineering selects industrial motors by the complete duty, not only by kW. Please provide power, speed, voltage, frequency, mounting arrangement, shaft and flange dimensions, protection, cooling, efficiency class, duty cycle, ambient conditions and any brake, encoder or special accessories.
- standard and special AC motors for 50 Hz or 60 Hz systems;
- DC, high-voltage, wound-rotor, brake, ATEX, inverter-duty, submersible and other application-specific motors;
- replacement selection for obsolete motors where dimensions and application data are available;
- electric motors manufactured in Bulgaria and selected products from established partner factories;
- preformed stator sections, rotor and pole coils, contact rings and selected custom electrical components produced from drawings, winding data or a sample after technical approval;
- Bulgarian industrial pumps, pump components and technically checked replacement solutions.
What to send for a useful quotation
- Nameplate: one sharp, readable photo.
- Machine and installation: overall photos, shaft, coupling, flange, feet, terminal box and mounting position.
- Requirement: fault symptoms and history for a repair, or required duty and dimensions for a new motor.
- Electrical data: power, voltage, frequency, speed, current, duty and protection where available.
- Commercial data: quantity, machine location, required timing, delivery address and whether transport support is needed.
